Every man has his price
64
This is world of dollars and pounds; a planet where every term is economic; a land where every man carries a price tag. Money makes the world go round. Money makes your family smile…and yet it is money that leads to the ultimate doom!!!
Goerge Savile says, and I quote, “they who are of the opinion that money will do everything, may very well be suspected to do everything for money.” The common man in the world blindly believes in the power of money. It posses such might that it can break bonds between brothers. Where one breaks one’s promises, where one forgets one’s religion, moral and above all, conscience…
Imagine a man who toils from seven in the morning till seven in the evening, six days a week for the whole year…and barely has enough to feed his family, e.g. a laborer. On the other hand a man sits in his office for an hour a day and travels in bullet-proof cars. Their social standings are world apart. Their lifestyles are totally different. The laborer puts in sweat and blood and reaps nothing. The bureaucrat puts in dishonesty and reaps credit cards. Ironic yet true!!!
The desire to see your family happy is very positive thing. Now wait for moments…close your eyes and ponder…
”What makes your daughter smile??”….
”How you would feel when she has tears in her eyes??”…
“What makes your mother better when her cough becomes violent??”…
“What makes your wife cheer up when she is throwing a tantrum??”…
The underlined answer is MONEY! Every human being has desires, it is innate and instinctive. And the desires go beyond your ethics…you now have a label...Every man has a value…sardonic yet true. Someone who believes that "every man has his price" is probably not philanthropic.
“Every man has his price.' This is not true. But for every man there exists a bait which he cannot resist swallowing. To win over certain people to something, it is only necessary to give it a gloss of love of humanity, nobility, gentleness, self-sacrifice - and there is nothing you cannot get them to swallow. To their souls, these are the icing, the tidbit; other kinds of souls have others.”

I really like it and agreed but in Asian countries especially in Pakistan and India. Not all but mostly people having money are dishonest and corrupt and those who do not have money spent their life in chasing. At the end I want to say
Money can not buy happiness but somehow its more comfort to cry in Mercedes than on a bicycle.
We must know ourselves..!
survival not possible without money
But those who can resist the bait are the ultimate winners, some of which are remembered for a long long time.
Does not man have hard service on earth? Are not his days like those of a hired man? All his days his work is pain and grief; even at night his mind does not rest. This too is meaningless.
Elizibeth (artist for hire) we are born free, yes, that is right. But we are in chains everywhere because every step and every breath we take; there are decisions we need to make and every decision matters. We are always remained chained because of our duty to make a change in this world....and money is the price we get and pay.
A very interesting and accurate point about bad things being masked with deceptively glossy coat of love or self sacrifice - and isn't the world full of these things!! Indeed, everyone does have currency of sorts - it may not always be money but there must be some sort of pay off in the end
well said jan
